Guy Barnish

I am a retired parasitologist living in the French countryside, and I am an amateur photographer.

 

My interest in photography developed after I bought my first 35 mm camera.

 

With an interest in subjects biological I tried close-up photography, and that is still my main interest. If you see any insects wrongly labeled, please tell me.

 

However, as a "travelling man" I also like to photograph landscape scenes and people.

 

In common with countless others, my pursuit of photography increased after the purchase of a digital SLR camera.

Most of the close-ups were taken in my French garden.
